Magic Stix Review + Giveaway

I have always loved markers. It is just so satisfying to me to get a new set of markers. Really, any art supply excites me. I have also loved the Kwik Stix that were created by The Pencil Grip, Inc. Well, now they have released some awesome new markers! Naturally, when asked to review the Magic Stix Washable Markers 24 count, I jumped right on that. These markers state that they won't dry out for seven days with the cap off. Guaranteed. Now we don't have trouble with little ones forgetting to put the lids on their markers, so we didn't need to test that aspect. The markers don't have an odor at all and feature bright, bold colors in quite an impressive variety.

My son was probably most excited about this review and grabbed them as soon as they were delivered. He grabbed his drawing materials and set to work. The first comment he made was that these markers don't leave lines when you color over top of the same color. SO impressive to him! He has been seeking markers that don't trace over each other and make your drawing look strange. The tip of the marker is between a fine point and a broad line marker. My son found that he was able to draw quite a bit of detail with these markers. I was quite impressed with some of the things he was able to do with this set.

The second impressive thing about these markers is that they don't dry out for seven days. And that is guaranteed. We didn't do the 7 day test. I wanted to, but my kids, especially my son, weren't too interested in losing a marker. They love them all. The colors are all nice and bright, perfect for a great variety of projects.

I have even pulled these out to color with. I appreciate how smoothly they cover the image as well as how nicely they color. They will however bleed somewhat onto the back of the page that you are coloring. Not a deal breaker because the brilliance of the colors is worth it. The markers arrived in a heavy duty plastic carrying case, which makes taking them places super easy and convenient. My kids took them to church one Sunday and colored quietly during the service. All in all the presentation is perfect and inviting. We currently have these on the school bookshelf. My kids are welcome to pull them out at anytime. I even don't mind if they want to use these markers to complete their schoolwork. I mean fun markers can make any dull subject just a little bit more pleasant. I have even seen them being used for cursive handwriting practice.

We are glad that we were able to review these markers! We will gladly be holding onto these for quite some time and using them often. These would also make excellent gifts in the future. I love that we are able to easily take them with us when we go somewhere. Or that my kids will grab them while listening to audio books or audio dramas. Or that they will even use these to complete their schoolwork. Hands down the best markers out there!

I'm also excited to announce that for my readers, Kwik Stix has agreed to giveaway an additional set of markers. How generous of them!
